The Oakwood reformer is made from high-quality oakwood, offering durability and aesthetic appeal. On the other hand, Aluminium reformers are constructed using lightweight aluminium, providing easy manoeuvrability and are often preferred for studio or home use.

The S1 includes the following features that differentiate it from the A1:

  • 1 extra double heavy spring (red)
  • 1 extra row of spring tension, which allows for an extra 16 varieties in spring tensions
  • 50mm longer carriage
  • Grippy non-slip standing pad
  • Removable pulley risers
  • Option to add a half-trap
  • The S1 also has a higher bed, which is more suitable for those with a weaker back and/or knees
  • The A1 stands on its end, which saves space and makes for easy storage
  • The A1 is much lighter in total weight for ease of moving around the room
  •  The A1 frame is made from a strong and lightweight Aluminium material

The difference between the 2 machines is that the Pilates S1 Oakwood Reformer with Full Track includes a rare full-length sliding foot bar with multiple locking locations to multiply your variety of exercises. 

  • The Pilates S1 Oakwood Reformer with Full Track & Half Trap comes with a mat converter for easy installation.
  • The Pilates S1 Oakwood Reformer with Full Track & Half Trap also comes with a complete half trap that is easy to add or remove.

- Long Cadillac springs with snap clips: 2 light, 2 medium

- Extra thick commercial stainless steel trapeze frame for strength

The F1 includes the following features that differentiate it from the A1;

  • Fold-up frame for easy storage 
  • Multiple locking locations to multiply your variety of exercises
  • 1 extra double heavy spring (red)
  • Removable pulley risers and headrests can be stowed away when the unit is standing and folded
  • Second padded non-slip grip platform to swap over for comfort
  •  The F1 frame is made from a durable Oakwood material
  • The A1 has a 50mm longer travel carriage  
  • The A1  frame is made from a strong and lightweight Aluminium material

Our springs create resistance on your reformer. Adding springs increases resistance, and removing the springs decreases resistance, allowing you to customise your workout.
